Fire Chief’s Welcome Message

It is my goal to see that the members of this department provide the highest level of services possible to the citizens, businesses and visitors within our community. Our department has proudly served the Town and Rural citizens since 1937. Our members are dedicated to saving lives, protecting property and responding to any type of call.

Our department conducts fire and life safety education and training programs for persons of all ages working within our schools, businesses and churches. Our department is responsible for responding and controlling incidents involving fire, explosions, hazardous situations, vehicle and industrial accidents, and weather-related incidents.

Overall, the Catawba Volunteer Fire Department, Inc.  has a highly trained and productive force of personnel who are involved in multiple tasks. I know that our personnel are among the best when it comes to serving the citizens of our district. It is with great pride that I serve as Chief with this dedicated group of members.
